A scandal has erupted in Dnipropetrovsk region regarding the cruel treatment of animals at the "Paradise" pet hotel, which is located within a veterinary clinic. The story, shared by dog owner Valeria on social media, has sparked outrage and raised questions about the professionalism and ethical standards of the establishment. It involves an injury sustained by a small toy poodle named Keks, who weighs only 6 kg. This information was reported by "Vidomo".
At the aforementioned hotel, just a few hours after being checked in, the little poodle was viciously attacked by a Staffordshire Terrier that weighs five times more (around 30 kg). The outcome of this encounter was catastrophic: Keks suffered a complex comminuted fracture of the humerus.
The injury to the dog is only part of this horrific story. The situation was exacerbated by the complete lack of professionalism from the management of the "Paradise" clinic, who, as it turned out, do not have veterinary education. This fact raises even more concerns about the safety of the animals entrusted to the hotel.
Keks, in a state of severe shock, was essentially left to fend for himself instead of receiving timely and qualified assistance.
The owner was forced to seek help from another veterinary clinic in Dnipro. There, an experienced doctor immediately began a complex two-hour surgery after conducting a detailed examination. The medical staff emphasized that any delay in providing assistance could have significantly reduced Keks' chances of survival and full recovery.
To date, the owner of the unfortunate animal has encountered yet another problem - the hotel owners are only willing to pay a small fraction of the compensation, which does not cover all the expenses for her pet's treatment. The dog owner also received no apologies.
