In Dnipro, a man sustained severe burns during a house fire (PHOTO)

A large fire broke out on Irpen Street in Dnipro, as reported by "Vydomo," citing the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in the Dnipropetrovsk region.

Upon arrival at the scene, firefighters found that a one-story utility building on a private property was ablaze, and the fire was beginning to spread to a residential house. The fire resulted in the destruction of the roof of the utility structure, and damages to a window and the roof of the house. The total area affected by the fire was 30 square meters.

As a result of the fire, a man born in 1958 sustained injuries. Emergency medical workers transported the man to a medical facility with a preliminary diagnosis of thermal burns.

A total of 8 firefighters and 2 units of firefighting equipment were dispatched to the scene.
