In Dnipro, vandals defaced an image of a fallen soldier (PHOTO).

The theory of dismantling by the advertiser seems unlikely, given the selective and targeted damage to only a portion of the image.

An outrageous act of vandalism occurred in Dnipro, sparking public outcry and raising questions about the accountability of advertising structure owners. One of the advertising boards owned by LLC "SILL" was defaced, damaging the image of a fallen soldier. This was reported by "Vідомо," referencing "Файне місто Дніпро".

The photograph displayed on the billboard featured a portrait of a serviceman who died fighting for Ukraine's independence. The deliberate damage to this image has justifiably outraged many citizens. The destruction went beyond mere scratches or minor wear; the soldier's face was literally torn apart, indicating intentional actions by the vandals.

Although the entire advertising structure appears worn, and there is speculation that the damage may have occurred during dismantling (possibly after the rental period expired), the most severe destruction was inflicted specifically on the soldier's portrait. The photograph clearly shows a tear in the material of the banner precisely in the face area.

The reasons behind the damage remain unclear, but regardless, the owner must be held accountable to the state for such lawlessness on their advertising structure.
