A mother and her child tragically perished in a fire in Kryvyi Rih (PHOTO)

On the evening of January 16, a single-story residential building was ablaze on Dovkillya Street in the Metallurgical District of Kryvyi Rih, as reported by "Vідомо," referencing the Main Department of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast.

During the firefighting efforts, rescuers found the bodies of a woman and her young child in one of the rooms.

The firefighters extinguished the flames that had engulfed the roof and rooms of the house, covering an area of 50 square meters.

A total of 17 rescuers and five units of firefighting equipment from the Main Department of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast were involved in combating the blaze.
