The "Ballon d'Or" of former forward and coach of the Ukrainian national team Andriy Shevchenko has been brought to Dnipro, reports "Vidomo".
It has been displayed in the hall of the train station. Thousands of football fans, along with local residents and their children, came to take photos with the football trophy, despite having to stand in a long queue.
As reported by the UAF, on December 13, 2004, Andriy Shevchenko received the most prestigious individual football award in the world – the "Ballon d'Or". To commemorate the twentieth anniversary of this event, the legendary footballer brought the trophy to Ukraine. On December 17, the "Ballon d'Or" began a journey with Ukrzaliznytsia, traveling to nine cities.
