President Volodymyr Zelensky has approved a plan to transition to a new organizational structure for the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the establishment of corps.
He announced this during his evening address to the nation.

The head of state shared that this issue was discussed today during a meeting attended by the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Oleksandr Syrskyi.
Zelensky and Syrskyi also outlined the main requirements for appointing commanders.
“They should be the most prepared, the most promising officers with combat experience and modern thinking. The army must be modern. And most importantly – to value people. Relevant decisions will be made public,” the president promised.
Let us remind you that it was recently reported that the Armed Forces of Ukraine will implement a new instructor training program for training centers.
It was also mentioned that Ukraine is preparing to reform the conscription system to attract youth aged 18 to 25 who are exempt from mobilization.
