President Vladimir Zelensky expressed the view that European countries should establish a unified armed force to enhance their security.
This statement was made during his speech at the Munich Security Conference.

According to Zelensky, in the coming months, Russia will attempt to send additional military personnel to Belarus, which could be used to attack several European countries.
Furthermore, the president believes that the continent's leaders should not rule out the possibility that "America may say 'No' to Europe on many issues that threaten it."
"We need an army. I think the time has come to create the Armed Forces of Europe... Three years of full-scale war have proven that we already have the foundation for a unified European military force. And now, while waging this war and paving the way to peace and security, we must build the Armed Forces of Europe,” he stated.
Let us remind you that the day before, the president explained under what conditions Ukraine would be willing to negotiate with Russia, and what would be considered a red line.
It is also known that Zelensky met with U.S. Vice President J.D. Vance. After the discussions, he stated that the U.S. aims to achieve lasting peace, "not one that leads to conflict in Eastern Europe just a few years later."
