On the evening of February 20, President Volodymyr Zelensky met with U.S. Special Representative Keith Kellogg. According to Zelensky, it was a good and detailed conversation.

The head of state shared this information via Telegram.

The parties discussed a wide range of issues, including the situation at the front, the return of prisoners of war, and effective security guarantees.

“From the very first second of this war, Ukraine has been striving for peace, and we can and must make peace reliable and lasting so that Russia can never return to war. Ukraine is ready for a strong, truly beneficial agreement with the President of the United States regarding investments and security,” Zelensky stated.

According to him, the Ukrainian side proposed “the fastest and most constructive” way to achieve results.

“Our team is ready to work 24/7. Success unites. Everyone in the world needs success in relations with the United States. Thank you, General Kellogg, for our joint efforts to achieve important results,” the president concluded.

It is worth noting that Trump’s special representative arrived in Kyiv on February 19. Earlier, Kellogg had stated that the U.S. does not intend to pressure Ukraine's leadership regarding a potential peace agreement with Russia. Kellogg promised to engage all parties within 180 days to achieve peace in Ukraine.

For his part, Volodymyr Zelensky has declared that the Ukrainian leadership does not plan to recognize the outcomes of negotiations between the U.S. and Russia that took place in Saudi Arabia.
