Military personnel can send and receive parcels weighing up to 30 kg for just 1 hryvnia at post offices in Sumy, Kharkiv, Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia, and Kherson regions using the "Army+" app.
This was announced by the Ministry of Defense on February 20.
Discounts and special offers: a new program for military personnel has been launched in "Army+"Access to special offers on goods and services has been made available to military personnel, including from Ukrzaliznytsia, as well as discounts on fuel.The parcels are sent through "Nova Poshta." As noted by the Deputy Minister of Defense for Digitalization, Yekaterina Chernohrenko, this initiative aims to support military personnel by ensuring the swift delivery of essential items.
The program involves five frontline regions: Sumy, Kharkiv, Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia, and Kherson.
"Nova Poshta, just like the military, understands that every second is precious right now. Especially when delivering valuable, necessary, and symbolically significant items for defenders. A generator, a 'Mavic' drone, or even a beloved child's drawing. The main principle of Plus is to be a warm, human service for the military. And this principle perfectly aligns with that of Nova Poshta," Chernohrenko remarked.
To use the service, one must generate a barcode in the "Army+" app and present it to the post office operator, who will activate the offer.
Recall that back in December of last year, a new program for military personnel was introduced in "Army+", which includes discounts and special offers. Recently, the "Army+" app added new types of electronic reports for military personnel.
