Starting from February 3, Ukraine has opened applications for special budget payments to support the maintenance of cattle, goats, and sheep.
This was announced by the Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food, Vitaliy Koval, via Telegram on Monday, February 3.
"Today, we begin accepting applications for special budget subsidies for the maintenance of cattle, goats, and sheep," the minister stated.
According to him, applications for these payments can be submitted through the State Agrarian Register. As a result, the following assistance can be obtained:
- 7,000 UAH per head – for those who have between 3 and 100 cows.
- 2,000 UAH per head – for those who maintain between 5 and 500 heads of breeding goats and/or sheep.
Koval clarified that in 2025, only those who did not receive the subsidy in 2024 will be eligible for it.
As a reminder, Ukraine plans to launch a Unified Register of Pets. More details can be found in our infographic.
