Первое учреждение здравоохранения в системе Министерства обороны получило статус Центра реинтеграции для освобожденных из плена военнослужащих.

The first healthcare institution within the Ministry of Defense has been designated as a Center for reintegration for military personnel released from captivity.

This was announced by Defense Minister Rustem Umerov.

The initial reintegration center is operating in the central region. It is a specialized complex that provides essential assistance all in one location:

  • medical,
  • rehabilitative,
  • psychological,
  • conducts reintegration activities,
  • assists in obtaining certificates and restoring documents.

Currently, the center is equipped for 100 places, with the potential to expand to 200 or more by increasing the number of rehabilitation beds.

We have also received the first suggestions and requests from military personnel and medical staff. All of these will be taken into account by the Ministry of Defense's Health Department. This marks a new phase in our work, and we are improving it every day in collaboration with the President's Office, the government, and relevant agencies,” emphasized Umerov.

It was previously reported that an effective rehabilitation system will be developed and implemented in Ukraine to help military personnel return to service after injuries and illnesses.

By order of President Volodymyr Zelensky, by the end of this year, the Ministry of Defense, together with the General Staff of the Armed Forces, is to deploy a medical information system in military units.
