The number of individuals injured from the Russian strike on a multi-story building in Sumy has risen to eight.
This information was reported by the Sumy City Council.
“Of the eight injured, two remain in the medical facility, while the others are receiving outpatient treatment,” the statement said.
It is noted that over 160 personnel and 14 units of equipment are working at the site of the attack.
According to the city council, nine buildings on Sumy Territorial Defense Street have been damaged—seven multi-story buildings and two non-residential premises. Infrastructure department staff recorded damage to 116 windows and 118 balcony frames.
“Two buildings are currently without electricity, water, and heating. The supply of gas to one of them has been restored,” the city council noted.
As is known, Russian military forces struck residential areas in Sumy with a “Shahed” drone on the evening of Friday, November 1.
Recall that explosions were heard in Kyiv on the morning of November 2. Debris from drones was reported to have fallen in two districts of the capital.
Additionally, a Russian aerial bomb hit a five-story building in Kupiansk, resulting in injuries.
