On the night of February 15, a series of explosions rocked Volgograd, Russia. Local residents report the operation of air defense forces in the region.

Witnesses heard at least 15 explosions. Preliminary reports suggest that Russian air defense was attempting to intercept Ukrainian drones that were heading towards a refinery in the Krasnoarmeysky district.

According to local residents, the powerful blasts lasted for about 45 minutes, triggering car alarms in the courtyards. The explosions were also audible in the city of Krasnoslobodsk and the Kirovsky district of Volgograd.

Additionally, there are reports of one of the drones hitting a residential high-rise building. There is currently no information on casualties. Local authorities have not commented on the situation.

It is worth noting that on the night of February 13, explosions were reported in the Lipetsk region of Russia. Local residents claimed that the attacks were allegedly carried out by Ukrainian drones.

And on the night of February 9, Ukrainian forces struck the oil processing facility LLC "Albashneft" in the Krasnodar region of Russia. Subsequently, satellite images of the oil depot after the attack emerged online.
