According to the Central Election Commission (CEC), more than 1.5 million citizens of Moldova have already participated in the second round of the presidential elections. Specifically, 1,522,974 voters made their choice, which accounts for 50%.

It is noted that the most active voters are those aged 66-75, while the least active are aged 18-25. However, increased turnout has been recorded across all age groups. Additionally, a high turnout has been observed in Transnistria.

As is known, the police in Moldova have recorded instances of organized transportation of voters both within the country and abroad. Subsequently, several hacker attacks were launched against the information resources of the Central Election Commission.

Recall that on Sunday, November 3, the second round of presidential elections began in Moldova. The country is choosing between the current president Maia Sandu and former Prosecutor General Alexandru Stoianoglo.

Moldova warned several European countries that Russia might attempt to disrupt the voting of Moldovan expatriates at overseas polling stations.

The first round of elections took place on October 20. On that day, 42.45% of voters supported Sandu, while her opponent Stoianoglo received 25.98% of the votes.
