The mission of the International Monetary Fund today, February 20, begins discussions in Kyiv regarding the seventh review of the Extended Fund Facility (EFF) program.
This was reported by the permanent representative of the IMF in Ukraine, Priscilla Toffano.
If the review is successful, Ukraine will receive a tranche of $917.54 million for the state budget.
As previously mentioned, during this mission, Fund representatives will focus on issues related to Ukraine's fiscal and monetary policies, as well as reforms in governance and debt sustainability.
It is worth noting that Ukraine received the previous IMF tranche of $1.1 billion at the end of December. This year, the government expects to receive nearly $5.4 billion under the cooperation program with the Fund.
Ukraine is the third-largest debtor to the IMF. The ranking of countries by debt levels can be found in the infographic by "Slovo i Delo."
