On Thursday, February 13, a man of conscription age committed suicide in the building of the Khmelnytsky Territorial Center for Recruitment and Social Support.

This was reported by the press service of the regional TCC and SP on Facebook.

They will divide functions into three areas: the Ministry of Defense announced a reform of the TCC and SPThe Ministry of Defense is preparing a large-scale reform of the territorial recruitment and social support centers, said Deputy Minister Havryliuk.

It was stated that the man was wanted for violating military registration. After checking his documents, he was taken to the military enlistment office for updating his records and undergoing a military medical commission.

“During the military medical commission, he engaged in self-harming actions. Immediate first aid was provided on the scene, and an ambulance was called. However, he died from massive bleeding in the ambulance,” the TCC claims.

They added that no physical or psychological violence was applied to the conscript within the walls of the territorial center. Investigative actions are currently ongoing.

“We appeal to all conscripts of mobilization age. Life is the highest value, even in the most difficult circumstances. Suicide not only deprives a person of the opportunity to find a way out of the situation but also leaves pain and confusion for relatives and loved ones. It is important to remember that no legal or administrative procedure is so hopeless as to justify radical actions,” the message states.

We remind you that recently a wave of explosions occurred in TCCs and near them across Ukraine, as well as attacks on military enlistment representatives. Following this, it became known that security measures would be strengthened in TCCs and military units.

Earlier, it was reported that rules for communication with conscripts would be created for TCC employees.
