The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, announced the commencement of collaboration with the team of the 45th President of the United States, Donald Trump, expressing hope for success in achieving peace.
Zelensky shared this information on social media.

According to the Ukrainian president, the United States is currently viewed as a power capable of not only halting the war but also ensuring a reliable peace after its conclusion.
“We had a productive phone conversation with President Trump ahead of the Munich Conference, a substantive meeting with Vice President Pence and Secretary of State Rubio. We are expecting General Kellogg in Ukraine soon for further assessment of the situation and to explore paths for strong and genuinely peacekeeping solutions from President Trump,” Zelensky wrote.
Additionally, the Ukrainian and American teams are actively working on a special agreement between the countries, which, according to the president, will strengthen both Ukraine and the United States.
Zelensky also held a series of meetings with U.S. senators and members of the House of Representatives. He emphasized that despite Russia's attempts to prolong the war, true peace is achievable, and its attainment is a common goal for Ukraine, the U.S., and Europe.
It is worth noting that the day before, U.S. President Donald Trump announced a meeting involving representatives from the U.S., Ukraine, and Russia. According to Trump, it may take place next week in Saudi Arabia.
President Volodymyr Zelensky stated that he would travel to Saudi Arabia, but not for negotiations with Trump or Putin.
Furthermore, it is known that Trump's team has already headed to Saudi Arabia to prepare for negotiations between Ukraine and Russia.
