The President of the United States Donald Trump signed 38 executive orders in the first nine days of his second term, surpassing any of his predecessors.

The counts were conducted by the American publication Axios.

According to the portal, Trump issued 38 orders during his first nine days in office, significantly outpacing any other president.

Harry Truman signed 54 orders in the first 100 days of his presidency, which is more than any other U.S. president. Joe Biden issued over 40 orders in his first 100 days.

Recall that Donald Trump also signed orders regarding the U.S. withdrawal from the Paris Agreement and the World Health Organization, the cancellation of birthright citizenship, the closure of the southern U.S. border, the declassification of documents related to the assassinations of John Kennedy, Robert Kennedy, and Martin Luther King Jr., and a temporary suspension of all U.S. foreign aid programs, as well as the death penalty.

A survey revealed that Americans do not approve of some of Trump’s initial executive orders.
