U.S. President Donald Trump announced negotiations between representatives from the U.S., Ukraine, and Russia aimed at ending the war. According to him, the meeting will take place next week in Saudi Arabia.

Trump made this announcement during a press conference at the White House.

He also mentioned another meeting of representatives from the three countries, scheduled for February 14 in Munich. Following that, U.S., Ukrainian, and Russian officials are set to meet in Saudi Arabia next week.

“There will be a meeting in Munich tomorrow, and next week in Saudi Arabia. Not with my participation or Putin's, but with top officials. Ukraine will be involved in both meetings. We’ll see if we can put an end to this war,” Trump stated.

At the same time, an advisor to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, Dmitry Litvin, denied claims regarding Ukraine's participation in the Munich meeting.

“The Ukrainian position remains unchanged. Ukraine must first talk to America. Europe should be a participant in any serious discussion for genuine and lasting peace. Only a coordinated common position should be on the table for talks with the Russians. There are no meetings at an empty table with the Russians,” Litvin emphasized.

It’s worth noting that earlier, Trump announced a meeting with Russian dictator Vladimir Putin in Saudi Arabia. According to Trump, this meeting is expected to be a step toward ending the war in Ukraine.

Additionally, according to media reports, U.S. President Donald Trump and Russian dictator Vladimir Putin will attempt to reach a ceasefire agreement in Ukraine by the end of April or early May.
