Following a nighttime attack, operations at the oil refinery in the city of Syzran in the Samara region of Russia have been suspended.

This was reported by the head of the Center for Counteracting Disinformation (CPD) under the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine, Andrey Kovalenko, via Telegram.

“The Syzran Oil Refinery is no longer operational after the attack,” Kovalenko wrote.

This morning, he reported the attack on the Syzran Oil Refinery, which has a processing capacity of 8.9 million tons of oil per year and plays a crucial role in supplying fuel to the Russian army.

It’s worth noting that the governor of the Samara region and local Telegram channels also reported the attack on the region last night. Specifically, drones targeted the oil refinery.

Previously, the General Staff confirmed an attack on the Ilysky Oil Refinery and oil pumping stations in Russia. Additionally, in February, an attack was carried out on a refinery in the Krasnodar region.
