Ukraine will perform in the first half of the first semifinal of Eurovision 2025, scheduled for May 13 in Switzerland.
This was announced during the draw on January 28, as reported by Suspilne.
Eurovision 2025: Performance Order of National Selection Finalists AnnouncedSuspilne presented the songs and held the draw for the national selection finalists for Eurovision 2025.The 69th Eurovision Song Contest will take place in the Swiss city of Basel. The Grand Final is scheduled for Saturday, May 17, while the semifinals will be on May 13 and 15. The following countries will also perform in the first semifinal:
- first half: Sweden, Ukraine, Slovenia, Iceland, Estonia, Poland, Portugal;
- second half: Netherlands, Azerbaijan, Albania, San Marino, Belgium, Cyprus, Croatia, Norway.
A total of 38 countries will participate in the contest, with 32 competing in the semifinals. About 20 semifinal winners will advance to the final.
Additionally, representatives from the "Big Five" countries (the UK, France, Germany, Italy, and Spain) will automatically qualify for the final, along with the previous year's winner - Switzerland.
As a reminder, the final of the Ukrainian national selection for Eurovision will take place on February 8, 2025. Ukrainians have already selected the jury for the national selection. The ten finalists are also known.
