The police provided details about the accident that occurred this morning in the Holosiivskyi district of Kyiv. A criminal investigation has been initiated.

The most hazardous roads are the M-06 Kyiv – Chop and M-30 Stryi – Uman – Dnipro – Izvaryne.According to law enforcement, a 38-year-old driver of a Mercedes-Benz bus, while driving on Academician Zabolotny Street, collided with Niva and Mitsubishi vehicles. These two cars had stopped to repair one of the vehicles that had broken down during the drive.
After the collision with the cars, the bus became uncontrollable and veered off the road, partially hitting a kiosk.
As a result of the accident, a passenger in the Niva vehicle died at the scene. Four others sustained serious injuries and were hospitalized.
Investigators have recorded the incident in the Unified Register of Pre-trial Investigations under part 2 of article 286 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine - violation of traffic safety rules or operation of vehicles by individuals managing motor vehicles, resulting in the death of the victim or causing serious bodily harm.
Recall that the accident occurred this morning. There were reports of 1 fatality and four injuries. In October, as a result of a large-scale accident involving a minibus in Kyiv, a woman was killed.
