After processing 100% of the protocols, it was revealed that Sandu received 55.33% of the votes. Her opponent, Alexander Stoianoglo, a representative of the opposition Socialist Party, garnered 44.67% of the voters' support.

Sandu's victory was bolstered by voters living abroad—on polling stations in other countries, she received 82.83% (271,569 people) compared to 17.17% (56,282) for Stoianoglo.

In total, 1,699,945 citizens of Moldova participated in the elections.

The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, has already congratulated Maia Sandu on her victory in the second round of the presidential elections. According to him, Moldovans have chosen a path towards economic growth and social stability.

Earlier, it was stated in Moldova that Russia would attempt to disrupt the voting of Moldovan expatriates at foreign polling stations. Subsequently, the country's police documented organized transportation of voters to the polling stations, and several hacker attacks were carried out on the information resources of the Central Electoral Commission.
