On the night of November 5, Russia launched an attack on the Odesa region with two guided air missiles X-59/69, and in the Kharkiv region, they used guided aerial bombs. Additionally, the Russians deployed 79 Shahed strike drones against Ukraine.

The attack was repelled by anti-aircraft missile forces, aviation, electronic warfare units, and mobile fire groups.
As of 8:30 AM, the destruction of two guided air missiles X-59/69 and 48 drones in the Odesa, Kyiv, Sumy, Poltava, Zhytomyr, Cherkasy, Chernihiv, and Khmelnytskyi regions was confirmed.
Another 30 Russian drones were lost in various regions of Ukraine, and one returned to Russia.
It is worth noting that throughout October, Russia used over 2,000 "Shaheds" and unidentified type drones against civilian and military targets in Ukraine.
Last week, Russian forces carried out hundreds of air strikes, launched about 30 missiles, and deployed 500 drones.
