Member of Parliament from the "Servant of the People" party Oleksandr Kunitsky has gone on a business trip and has not returned to Ukraine. He is likely to have fled the country.
This was reported by Bihus.Info citing its sources.
"The rumors that Dmitruk's friend Oleksandr Kunitsky went on a business trip abroad and did not return on time are not unfounded. The servant of the people and the scandalous blogger Kunitsky is not in Ukraine," the message states.
It is unclear how long the MP has been abroad, but he did not participate in parliamentary sessions throughout October.
"According to information on the website of the Verkhovna Rada in the 'Deputy Voting' section, he was absent from votes for the entire month of October. Can a member of parliament's business trip during wartime last a month?", the publication writes.
Bihus.Info reminded that Kunitsky is a friend of MPs Artem Dmitruk and Mykola Tishchenko, known for his numerous "altercations" with the patrol police and an incident involving a beating in the center of Kyiv (where he was seen on video with fellow MPs).
"Dmitruk eventually faced his suspicions, while Kunitsky did not. He was traveling abroad, extending his business trips, and living life to the fullest," the journalists noted.
Recall that earlier, non-factional MP Artem Dmitruk, who defended the interests of the Moscow Patriarchate in Ukraine, as well as MP Andriy Odarchenko, fled the country.
