Trump's Special Representative, Keith Kellogg, stated that he will engage all parties to achieve peace in Ukraine within the next 180 days.
This announcement was made by the Special Representative during a speech at the Munich Conference.

Kellogg believes that the war in Ukraine could end in less than a year.
“I publicly take 180 days, starting the countdown, to engage all parties so that we can make this happen, ensuring long-term stability that upholds Ukraine's sovereignty, and that when it stops, it never starts again,” the diplomat stated.
He emphasized that the United States does not intend to exclude anyone from the negotiation process: neither Ukraine, nor Russia, nor European allies.
The Special Representative highlighted that Europe will not physically sit at the negotiation table between Russia and Ukraine, but its interests will be taken into account.
Kellogg reminded that he will visit Ukraine next week, after which the Trump administration will consider how allies envision peace and how Ukraine does.
He added that he is responsible for the White House's interactions with the Ukrainian side, while Middle East envoy Steven Vitkoff is in charge of the Russian side.
As is known, the U.S. will serve as mediators during the negotiations between Ukraine and Russia to achieve stable security borders. For Ukraine, a significant success would be more than just a ceasefire and a peace agreement.
Previously, Kellogg did not rule out that Ukraine might have to sign a “potential territorial loss agreement” as a result of the peace negotiations.
