The Cabinet of Ministers made amendments during the meeting on February 14 to several documents that outline the procedures for military registration and the passage of the military medical commission (VVK) in Ukraine.

The relevant information was shared on the Telegram channel of the government representative in the Verkhovna Rada, Taras Melnychuk.

Today's decision includes, among other things, a complete ban on sending individuals with disabilities to the military medical commission for medical examination.

Furthermore, information about the presence of a disability will now be added to the registry of conscripts, military personnel, and reservists “with subsequent reflection of such information in the military registration document in electronic form.”

“It is permitted to submit a copy of the medical certificate for a child with a disability under the age of 18, certified by a social protection agency, healthcare institution, the Pension Fund of Ukraine, or notarized, instead of presenting the originals of the documents, as well as copies of other documents confirming the disability,” Melnychuk added.

Let us remind you that the day before yesterday it was reported that the Verkhovna Rada extended the deadline for passing the VVK for those with limited fitness until June 5. The next day, President Zelensky signed the law.

It was also reported that Ukraine intends to eliminate the requirement for individuals to visit the specific TCK where they are registered. The same applies to passing the VVK.
