The Cabinet of Ministers has updated the list of facilities exempt from power outage schedules.
This is stated in the government's resolution No. 1260.
According to the document, the following have been added to the list:
security and defense facilities as specified by the relevant authorities or central executive bodies responsible for military formations;
technical means of mobile operators and electronic communication network facilities as outlined by specialized authorities.
The aforementioned facilities will not be subject to hourly outage schedules at least until June 1, 2025.
It is worth noting that recent media reports indicated that Ukraine could face power outages of up to 20 hours a day.
Meanwhile, Ukerenergo explained the conditions under which winter could proceed without power outages. Our infographic illustrates how much electricity Ukraine imports and exports during the war.
