The Cabinet of Ministers has approved significant changes to enhance military registration and monitor violations of legislation by those liable for military service.
This was announced by Defense Minister Rustem Umerov on Facebook.
He explained that employees of the Territorial Centers for Recruitment and Social Support (TCRC) will be able to exchange data regarding Ukrainian citizens liable for military service with the Security Service of Ukraine, intelligence agencies, and the police through an electronic system.
Law enforcement will now be able to quickly and effectively obtain information about violators of the law and deliver them to the TCRC.
“Digitalization increases transparency and helps better organize the recruitment of our Defense Forces. This decision restores justice for those who faithfully fulfill their duty to the Homeland,” Umerov stated.
Let us remind you that at the beginning of October, the Cabinet of Ministers shortened the deadlines for reservists and those liable for military service to report to the recruitment centers upon receiving a summons by mail.
It was also reported that the National Council called on the media to cover mobilization and TCRC issues “correctly and professionally.”
