Google has revealed the locations of Ukrainian military systems on its maps, which are now being widely shared by Russians.
This was reported by the head of the Center for Counteracting Disinformation on Telegram.
«Imagine the situation. Google posts updated images on its maps showing the locations of our military systems (I won't specify). We reach out to them to quickly rectify this, but it’s the weekend. They are not prioritizing this», – the message states.
Additionally, Kovalенко emphasized that Russians are actively disseminating these images.
Later, the head of the CPD reported that Google representatives got in touch and indicated that they are already working to correct the situation.
«In the future, we will also discuss how to address any issues», – he added.
Previously, it was also reported that Zelensky criticized the leak of information regarding the request for "Tomahawks."
Recall that The New York Times, citing high-ranking American officials, reported that in the classified section of Vladimir Zelensky's "victory plan," which includes non-nuclear deterrence against Russia, Ukraine is requesting the U.S. to provide "Tomahawk" missiles with a range of up to 2500 km.
