«Under the procedural guidance of the Kyiv City Prosecutor's Office, a blogger – a former host of one of the sanctioned TV channels and his accomplice, who appeared as an expert on air, has been informed of suspicion», the statement reads.

They are accused of justifying, acknowledging the legitimacy of, and denying the armed aggression of Russia against Ukraine.

Investigators report that the ex-TV host spread videos on his YouTube channel, in which he justified the actions of Russians, portraying the full-scale invasion of Ukraine not as aggression. During broadcasts, the suspects convinced the audience that Russia was not an aggressor and presented pro-Russian narratives claiming there were reasons for the invasion of Ukraine.

«The host and his guests, while in Ukraine and witnessing the tragic consequences of Russia's actions daily, claimed that there was no war, referring to it as a "special military operation." Expert examinations confirmed the illegal statements made by the suspects», the prosecutor's office adds.

Earlier, sources in the SBU informed Ukrainian media, including “Suspilne” and UP, about the searches conducted at Nazarov's premises.

«This is a well-known pro-Russian propagandist, who once worked on Medvedchuk's and Murayev's channels. After the start of the full-scale invasion of Russia, he continued to invite pro-Kremlin experts to his YouTube broadcasts and justify Russian aggression», a source told “Suspilne.”

It is worth noting that on November 1, 2024, the Security Service detained 10 enemy agitators, including a political expert from the media pool of former people's deputy of the Opposition Platform – For Life Viktor Medvedchuk.

On October 19, 2023, former host of Medvedchuk's TV channels and leader of the banned political party "Union of Left Forces" Maxim Goldarb received suspicion from the SBU.
