A court has seized the assets of Russian oligarch Oleg Deripaska, amounting to over 2.11 billion hryvnias. This involves nearly 500,000 tons of bauxite and alumina that were produced in our country prior to Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine. The products were stored at the Mykolaiv Alumina Plant, which was previously owned by a Russian national.

According to the case materials, the seized bauxite and alumina belonged to the Russian oligarch through a commercial entity registered in one of the European Union countries. This company acted as the formal purchaser of the products from the Mykolaiv plant for subsequent re-export to Deripaska's Russian enterprises, such as "Rusal".

The total value of the seized assets exceeds 2.11 billion UAH. These products were a key component in aluminum production at Oleg Deripaska's Russian factories.

The court ruling is a significant step in the process of confiscating the assets of Russian oligarchs who have exploited Ukrainian industry for their own benefit. It also demonstrates the effectiveness of Ukrainian law enforcement actions in combating illegal financial flows.
