Military personnel Alexey "Stalker" stated that the leader of the "European Solidarity" faction, Petro Poroshenko, misled journalists in an attempt to justify his sons of conscription age, who, in the military's opinion, are evading service in the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The relevant text appeared on the defender's social media pages.
According to "Stalker," Petro Poroshenko was compelled to publicly defend his sons, "who fled the war abroad." Notably, within just 5 minutes of the interview, the politician provided false information on this topic twice. The first lie, as the soldier believes, was Poroshenko's claim that his son Alexey did not break the law and is not an evader.
“According to his father, Poroshenko Jr. is simply 'working in a large international corporation, studying, and fully complies with the law.' However, the hetman did not comment on the fact that Alexey was recently fined for evading mobilization. Petro also remained silent about the seizure of all his son's assets due to evasion from service in the Armed Forces of Ukraine. By the way, assets worth about 1.2 billion dollars belonging to the father are registered in the name of his son. Poroshenko's team effectively acknowledged that the son is an evader, as they did not challenge the fine in court and officially paid it,” notes "Stalker."
The second lie, according to Alexey "Stalker," is Poroshenko's assertion that his son allegedly defended the country in Donbas before the full-scale invasion.
“Earlier, his father claimed that Alexey served near Ilovaisk. At that time, journalists debunked this lie, stating that his son was never there. The son served in the summer of 2014 in a rear position, solely for the purpose of gaining political and reputational points for himself and his father, as Alexey was elected to the Verkhovna Rada in the fall of 2014. Interestingly, another son of Poroshenko - Mikhail, who will soon turn 25, is also in no rush to return to Ukraine. This is the same son who was seen wearing a 'Russia' t-shirt at a foreign party, loudly shouted 'Russians in London', and admitted that he does not speak Ukrainian,” highlights "Stalker."
The Ukrainian military also emphasizes that it is a legitimate question whether individuals whose adult children have hidden abroad during the war have the right to engage in politics.
“All of Poroshenko's children live and work outside of Ukraine. His family does not see their future here. They are only here to make money. What is this oligarch doing here?” concludes "Stalker."
As reported, the people's deputy Poroshenko was forced to acknowledge his conscript son Alexey as an evader, effectively confirming his violation of the mobilization law. This was done in order to lift the seizure of Poroshenko Jr.'s property for ignoring summonses.
Previously, Poroshenko demanded to consider Russia's interests while advocating for the deployment of the Black Sea Fleet of the Russian Federation in Crimea.
