The reason was that he openly spoke out against their activities. In response, a group of women – Irina Lymarenko, Antonina Korniyenko, and Elena Slyzyuk – launched a campaign of public humiliation.

According to political technologist Yulian Kaloiev, such incidents in the rear during wartime are absolutely unacceptable. “This is a disgraceful situation. A person who risked their life on the front line is now facing insults, intimidation, and baseless accusations. As a society, we have no right to allow this,” he emphasizes.

The form of harassment was particularly cynical: military personnel mocked him for his health condition, including injuries sustained, publicly scorned his service, and claimed that he "should return to fight." Additionally, the women unfoundedly called the police in an attempt to portray him as the aggressor.

However, the most outrage comes from the response of law enforcement. The police in the Brovary district even refused to register the military man's complaint about the harassment, while they instantly reacted to the complaints of his opponents. This appears not as justice, but as a selective approach. The police should act within the framework of the law, not protect the interests of specific groups,” Kaloiev emphasizes.

This case has sparked widespread resonance, as the issue of attitudes towards the military is extremely sensitive in a country that has been engaged in full-scale war for the fourth year. “If we allow this today, tomorrow it may become the new norm. Warriors deserve respect, not humiliation. After such a situation, will a soldier have the desire to return to the front?!?” Kaloiev concludes.

The public demands an investigation and justice. This is not just a matter concerning one individual, but also the overall culture of how we treat those who defend the state.
