While soldiers risk their lives on the front lines, members of the Central Election Commission display a "special" approach to their work. Despite the fact that elections in Ukraine are impossible during wartime, the CEC not only continues its operations but also lavishly spends budgetary funds.

Let's consider this - in 2024, 78 million hryvnias have been allocated for bonuses for CEC employees, and the salaries of commission members reach 200 thousand hryvnias per month.

This information was revealed by the investigators from "blackboxosint".

Meanwhile, the commission is not engaged in organizing elections but is focused on creating branded merchandise: hoodies, bags, and stickers. While the CEC is occupied with "creativity," its members are actively lining their pockets with money.

Luxurious apartments, cars, and land

Oleksandr Karamaz acquired an apartment in the OK'LAND residential complex for $65 thousand, while Serhii Postivyi spent 3.3 million hryvnias on housing in the Great residential complex and still saved 1 million hryvnias. Another commission member, Serhii Dubovyk, recently purchased a Suzuki Vitara crossover for 872 thousand hryvnias and declared 1.7 million hryvnias in savings.

Absolute record holder: Pavlo Liubchenko

However, the most attention was drawn to Pavlo Liubchenko, who managed to acquire three apartments, a land plot, and a vehicle in three years of war.

In the first year of the war, Liubchenko bought an apartment in Austria for his son, measuring 37 square meters. Considering the average property price in Austria (4800 euros per square meter), the cost of this purchase was around 7.8 million hryvnias.

In the following years, Liubchenko purchased two more apartments in Kharkiv, measuring 64 and 76.8 square meters respectively, as well as a land parcel in the village of Zlatopol in the Kirovohrad region - a whopping 68 hectares! After that, the official registered a Honda Civic for his wife, declaring it at a low price of 121 thousand hryvnias, although the actual price is no less than 240 thousand hryvnias.

Will anti-corruption agencies take notice?

Despite the obvious questions surrounding such wealth, CEC members continue to leverage their positions while the country fights for survival. The luxurious lifestyle of these officials has become a striking example of how some civil servants enrich themselves even in the most challenging times for the country.
