One of the streets in downtown Dnipro is set for a dramatic transformation (PHOTOS).

In the center of Dnipro, on Volodymyr Velykyi Street, certain changes are set to enhance the appearance of this urban artery with significant locations. After completing the collector repairs, city authorities have begun restoring the sidewalks, which is just part of the modernization project. This was reported by "Vідомо" referencing Urban Dnipro.

Specifically, the plan includes not only the renewal of the asphalt surface but also the implementation of minor reconstruction aimed at improving urban infrastructure. One of the key aspects of the upcoming changes will be the zoning of the sidewalks. This means that pedestrian areas will be clearly marked and separated from the roadway, significantly increasing safety for pedestrians.

Additionally, a continuous green zone is planned to be created. This greening may involve planting trees, shrubs, and flowers, making walks along the street more enjoyable.

Another important element of the reconstruction will be the organization of bicycle traffic. As part of this project, special bike lanes are expected to be added, which will make movement in this part of the city more convenient for cycling enthusiasts.
