In the center of Dnipro, on Volodymyr Velykyi Street, certain changes are set to enhance the appearance of this urban artery with significant locations. After completing the collector repairs, city authorities have begun restoring the sidewalks, which is just part of the modernization project. This was reported by "Vідомо" referencing Urban Dnipro.
Specifically, the plan includes not only the renewal of the asphalt surface but also the implementation of minor reconstruction aimed at improving urban infrastructure. One of the key aspects of the upcoming changes will be the zoning of the sidewalks. This means that pedestrian areas will be clearly marked and separated from the roadway, significantly increasing safety for pedestrians.
Additionally, a continuous green zone is planned to be created. This greening may involve planting trees, shrubs, and flowers, making walks along the street more enjoyable.
Another important element of the reconstruction will be the organization of bicycle traffic. As part of this project, special bike lanes are expected to be added, which will make movement in this part of the city more convenient for cycling enthusiasts.
This is how it will approximately look:
As part of the renovation of Volodymyr Velykyi Street, a new pedestrian crossing will be introduced. It will be designed with modern safety standards in mind, including bright lighting and road signs.
Previously, we reported that in Dnipro on the left bank, they plan to construct a new residential area.
