The renowned Ukrainian boxer Vasyl Lomachenko has engaged in investment activities benefiting a trusted associate of the Russian president, Vladimir Putin. Reports indicate that Lomachenko has invested his money in the Novikov Beverly Hills restaurant located in Los Angeles, which operates under the franchise of Russian restaurateur and businessman Arkady Novikov.

Novikov Group, owned by Novikov, has a network of restaurants around the globe. For business partners, the company offers several options: one can either purchase a franchise or become a co-investor in one of the restaurants. According to journalists from one publication, Lomachenko may have opted for the latter.

According to American registries from April 2024, Novikov LA LLC, which owns and manages the Novikov Beverly Hills restaurant, has several individuals and companies among its co-owners (Managers of Members - trusted persons in the management of the company's shares), including Arkady Novikov and Loma Power Holding.

As evidenced by the registry documents of Loma Power Holdings from November 2024, the company's CEO is Vasyl Lomachenko. Meanwhile, the positions of secretary and chief financial officer are held by his manager, the American of Lithuanian descent, Egis Klimas.

The type of business for Loma Power Holdings is consulting.

According to journalists, Klimas, who was acquainted with Novikov since the opening of Novikov Miami, became a co-owner of Novikov Beverly Hills in 2021 and brought Vasyl Lomachenko's company into the project.

Novikov is one of the first restaurateurs in Russia who is familiar with the country's political elite. In particular, the first president of Russia, Boris Yeltsin, often enjoyed visiting and holding meetings at one of his establishments, "Tsarskaya Okhota."

The businessman is also personally acquainted with Russian leader Vladimir Putin and was a member of the Supreme Council of the United Russia party. Novikov was a trusted person for Putin during the elections in 2012 and 2018. The restaurateur's company has repeatedly catered to government and presidential events.

Among the restaurateur's business partners are the families of Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin and former Defense Minister Anatoly Serdyukov.
